MORE ABOUT DR. KNOLMAYER
Dr. Knolmayer has served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 28 years and included four combat tours to Afghanistan and Iraq. He retired the summer of 2014. He has lived in the Anchorage area for more than 12 years and works on staff at Providence Hospital, Alaska Regional Hospital, theAlaska Native Medical Center and the 673rd Medical Group at Elmendorf. His second passion is racing sled dogs and he has completed the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race twice among many shorter races. Dr. Knolmayer currently lives in Eagle River with his wife Tina and his two children Zane and Madeline.
